We are pleased to welcome Jyotin Handa to Vistara Growth as our new Chief Financial Officer.
Based in our Toronto office, Jyotin brings extensive experience across private credit, spanning fund management and operations, institutional capital raising, investor relations, corporate finance, and financial management.
Most recently, Jyotin served as a Managing Director at another technology-focused private credit firm where he led a range of strategic and corporate finance activities, including the structuring and management of evergreen investment funds and credit facilities, as well as distribution relationships and overall fund operations. Earlier in his career, Jyotin held roles in corporate finance and investor relations at Maple Leaf Foods and Ernst & Young. Jyotin is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Economics from the University of Toronto.
At Vistara, Jyotin will oversee all financial operations including fund finance and structuring, financial reporting, governance, compliance, portfolio monitoring, and managing 3rd party relationships.
Jyotin’s appointment comes at an important stage in Vistara’s growth. His addition further strengthens the firm’s leadership team, alongside the recent naming of longstanding investment team leaders John O’Donoghue and Neil Kenley as Partners, and follows Vistara’s recently announced strategic partnership with Beedie Capital which will be an anchor investor in the new evergreen Vistara Growth Structured Opportunities Fund, targeting US$500M planned for launch this fall.
