Aashna joined Vistara from the Wharton School, where she led the Penn Wharton Innovation Fund and worked on the venture capital and growth equity team at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. Previously, she spent four years at Generation Ventures, where she successfully sourced and executed early and growth-stage investments and fund investments across a range of technology verticals and strategies. Aashna is a passionate advocate for diversity in venture capital, serving as an Advisor at Canadian Women in VC and a Mentor a Front Row Ventures.
Aashna holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Commerce from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University.

In her free time, Aashna re-launched and directed Founders Boost Toronto, a free accelerator program for early-stage founders and has written three fantasy adventure novels that she hopes to publish one day.
