Amit has 10+ years of corporate development experience at various high growth corporations and investment firms. Prior to joining Vistara, he was part of the corporate development (M&A) team at Doxim, a PE-owned customer communications software & services company in Toronto. During his time there, Amit was focused on corporate strategy, deal origination and transaction execution. His work there helped close eight strategic acquisitions for the firm.
Before Doxim, Amit worked for the M&A team at Volaris Group, an operating unit of Constellation Software. He oversaw corporate development initiatives for subsidiary companies related to vertical market software acquisitions in transportation, healthcare and financial services sectors.
Amit began his career in IT services at Wipro, where he worked for Telenor’s telecom operations and mobile services launch in India.
Amit received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Ivey Business School at Western University (Ontario) and did his Bachelor of Technologies (B.Tech) in Computer Sciences.
